Day 1 Venice: Arrive into Venezia, La Serenissima, Queen of the Adriatic, city of canals and palaces. For a thousand years the city was one of the most enduring mercantile sea powers on the face of the earth. On arrival at the San Marco Airport a private transfer will take you. Check-in at hotel. In the evening take a Gondola ride. Enjoy floating along the canals of Venice. Be captivated by the glamour and elegance of the city and its magnificent palaces and churches facing the Grand Canal. Day 2 Venice Island Tour: Today after breakfast, proceed to Alilaguna's Pier at St. Marks waterfront, embark on a motorboat and visit the Island Murano, where one can watch the antique art of making glass. Then one proceeds to the characteristic Island of Burano, with its strong colours and light contrast, fisher island and renowned for the lace making. Last Island Torcello with its old Cathedral and its atmosphere of remote Venetian past. Return to St Mark's Square. Day is free and at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 Florence: After breakfast at the Hotel. You will proceed to the Florence which is one of the most beautiful and ancient cities in Italy and the world. It gave birth to many of the men who have more profoundly influenced the course of human history in every field of knowledge, art, literature and philosophy. Most of the world artistic patrimony is believed to be here, in Florence. Check-in at hotel, The day is free at leisure. You can explore this overwhelming city of beauty and culture by sampling walking around its ancient streets. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4 Florence-Pisa: After Breakfast at the Hotel. A splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside to the historic university city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. Upon arrival in Pisa, guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower (exterior), the Baptistery (exterior) and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit to the interior of the Cathedral, an unrivalled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries. Free time at your disposal. Those who are interested can take a pleasant walk with our tour escort and reach Piazza dei Cavalieri, where you can admire the historic Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world. Day 5 Naples: Arrive in the Capital of the Campania Region of Italy- Naples Napoli in Italian. It sits on the coast on the northern edge of the Bay of Naples, one of the most beautiful bays in Italy. Check in to the Hotel. Day is free to relax. Tonight (on you own) you indulge your self the Pizza, one of Italy's most famous foods, originated in Naples and pizza is taken very seriously here. You'll find lots of great pizza places but be sure you look for one with a wood-burning oven! Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 Capri & Anacapri: After Breakfast, proceed for a Full day excursion to Capri & Anacapri. From the harbour you board the Jet boat for the 45 minute crossing to Marina Grande, the port of Capri. Here you will then board motorboats and visit the Blue Grotto (if weather and sea conditions permit). Later you proceed for a panoramic tour of Capri Island eventually arriving at Anacapri situated at 280 meters above sea level from where you will have a wonderful view of the bay of Naples. After lunch in a local restaurant(on your Own), you will then have some free time before returning to Marina Grande to board the boat back to Naples. Entering the port of Naples, don't miss this opportunity to admire the splendid Certosa of San Martino and the Royal Palace (a fortress of the 12th century). Tour ends after disembarkation. Rest of the day is free. If you are seafood savvy can indulge you self in seafood which is an abundant and very good in Naples, The best is spaghetti with clam and mussels. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 Rome: Breakfast in the Hotel. After breakfast, the minivan will take you to St.Peter’s Square, where you will enjoy a breath-taking view of one of the most magnificent squares in the world. The tour is a walking guided visit through the centre of Rome, covering also Navona Square with Bernini's famous Fountain of Four Rivers, Piazza della Rotonda with the mysterious Pantheon intended by Emperor Hadrian to have the biggest dome in the world, Trevi Fountain - famously portrayed in Fellini's La Dolce Vita -, and finally Spanish Steps where there will be the general drop off for all participants . The afternoon is free for shopping and visiting. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 Rome: Breakfast in the Hotel. A Visit to the Vatican Museum. The tour begins by through Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads and following the ancient Aurelian walls. En route you will see the famous Villa Borghese, Piazza del Popolo where you will see an Egyptian obelisk. Finally, on arrival at the Vatican Walls, your guide will then lead you into the Vatican Museums taking the beautiful Spiral staircase and continuing through the Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Geographical Maps before arriving in the famous Sistine Chapel with its magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement by Michelangelo. Day 9 Rome departure: Breakfast in the Hotel. Transfer to Rome airport for boarding flight home.
